Multi-platform media promotion for the Skippy peanut butter “Yippee” campaign. Skippy Art is an HTML5 canvas app that simulates drawing in Skippy® peanut butter with your finger. The website was developed with the EaselJS canvas library and uses four dynamic brushes simultaneously blended together to create the 3D effect. A user’s peanut butter artwork can be downloaded%2C shared%2C and submitted for display at the in-site gallery. A custom back-end CMS was created for project managers to approve artwork before appearing in the gallery. Skippy Art was replicated in a fully interactive HTML5 banner ad%2C in three sizes%2C as well as an Apple iAd.
